In order to allow residents and tourists to have a deeper understanding of the publications of China and Portuguese-speaking countries, as well as to promote the development of Macao as a “City of Reading”, the Cultural Affairs Bureau will continue to hold the Chinese and Portuguese Picture Book Fair this year. The Book Fair will showcase more than 500 picture books and children’s books mainly in Chinese or Portuguese. Two sessions of relevant family reading activities will also be held every day during the Book Fair.
The Chinese and Portuguese Picture Book Fair will be held at Carmo Hall in Taipa, showcasing more than 500 picture books and children’s books mainly in Chinese or Portuguese, aimed at enhancing cultural exchange between China and Portuguese-speaking countries in the fields of publishing and literature. A number of relevant family reading activities will also be held during the Book Fair. In addition, in order to provide a diverse range of activities and enrich the content of the Book Fair, IC will hold interesting activities related to picture books at The House of Macao Literature, including exhibitions, lectures and workshops.

This exhibition promises to be a spectacular visual feast.
