With the light of a candle or an oil lamp, this instrument was once used to project painted images onto glass plates, captivating audiences with dreamy images never seen before. In the digital age, the ‘Laterna Magica’ invites you to revisit the origins of cinema. How do you create a moving image with light? How do you tell a story in images?
RHYTHMS SHAPES COLOURS
Discovering Mondrian’s work and geometric abstraction.
By manipulating educational materials composed of lines and shapes to assemble, overlap, and combine, children will create large-scale, flexible compositions that are constantly renewed in space.
- Only for children aged 3 to 12, and they must be accompanied by an adult.
- Two-person ticket: Includes one child ticket and one adult ticket. The child ticket is only for children aged 3 to 12, and they must be accompanied by an adult.
- Three-person ticket: Includes one child ticket, one adult ticket and one companion ticket. The child ticket is only for children aged 3 to 12, and they must be accompanied by an adult. The companion ticket can be used by people of any age.
- Children with tickets must be accompanied by an adult and take turns experiencing the three theme zones in groups.
- Part of the contents of the exhibition experience at the Main Venue of the Fantastic Art World from the Centre Pompidou is the same as the workshop.
- The participants shall arrive at the venues 10 minutes before the activities. Admission is not allowed 30 minutes after the exhibition and the workshop begin.
