Speaker: Leon Chu
Chu has been active in the Hong Kong music scene in multiple roles: as a conductor, critic, translator and educator. He has been the music director of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Chorus since 2006, having led the group’s performances in numerous cities. Chu has been writing for the magazine HiFi Review since university and has published music critiques in a number of well-known newspapers and magazines. He has also been a speaker for numerous talks hosted by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Premiere Performances, the Macao International Music Festival, and Taipei International Choral Festival.
