Values and existence are at stake in an era just
before the blossoming of Macao. The recent depression, affecting many local
families is the inspiration for this play from the Hiu Kok Drama Association.
While the future holds promise, the present offers no stability for middle-aged
workers being fired from their old positions. They chase after a new life,
trying to cope with the changes but facing competition from the younger
generation that pours into the labour market. Trying their best to catch up with
rapid development, they engage in new careers, searching for a new life style.
