She has lived in New York for many years, but it
was in Macao that she first awakened to music. The composer sends for this
edition of the Macao Arts Festival her piano quintet Last Spring, which
will shine on a Macao Orchestra concert programme completely dedicated to
Chinese chamber music.
Pianist Lam Bun Chin is one of the most
internationally renowned of the artists that call Macao their homeland, and her
compositions are greatly inspired by memories of her birthplace. She gave her
first recital at 15 and has collected an impressive list of awards along her
career, among them the famous Prix de Rome.

Free Performances
- Admission to the performance to be held at
St. Dominic's Church requires a ticket which will be distributed outside the
venue one hour prior to the performance; distribution is limited to a
maximum of 2 tickets per person;
- Tickets are not required for the remaining
free admission performances;
- Seating is not assigned and is available on
a first come, first served basis.
