In the opening concert of the new season, Lü Jia – the new Musical Director of the Macao Orchestra - will conduct the Orchestra in collaboration with outstanding Chinese soprano He Hui. Extracts from classic operas will transport audiences back to the golden age of Italian opera, while Rimsky-Korsakov’s sumptuous Scheherazade will guide fans into the mythical world of One Thousand and One Nights.
