The conductor who ‘understands Italian opera even better than the Italians’ and the internationally celebrated soprano dubbed ‘a rising opera star’ promise to conjure up pure concert magic!
In the opening concert of the new season, Lü Jia – the new Musical Director of the Macao Orchestra - will conduct the Orchestra in collaboration with outstanding Chinese soprano He Hui. Extracts from classic operas will transport audiences back to the golden age of Italian opera, while Rimsky-Korsakov’s sumptuous Scheherazade will guide fans into the mythical world of One Thousand and One Nights.
