The shadows of light, the sound of the piano, sand painting. . . What artistic tastes prevail within the centuryold Dom Pedro V theatre? What story is taking place behind those curtains? Ode to the World, a multimedia musical performance, expresses artistic beauty on many levels without the use of language. It consists of four movements that sensuously express Lei Vai Fan’s own interpretation of life.
Flexible and ever-changing sand paintings create a picture of peacefulness and tranquillity. The nuances of light and the sounds of the piano perform the colours of life. This is not just the story of an individual; it is an exploration of the pursuit of truth, goodness and beauty in the arts and in life. All are welcome to experience this enchanting piece in the historic Dom Pedro V Theatre!
