He has collaborated in concert with a number of renowned orchestras and is critically acclaimed both at home and abroad. Chief pipa player in the Central National Orchestra, Wu Yuxia performs in a way that has been described as “delicate without exaggeration, full of passion but not wild; with plenty of emotion and distinction.” She has established a new image for the art of the pipa, one now recognised the world over. Jiang Kemei is a rare master in all five hu instruments and her interpretations of different styles of music have been highly praised, becoming one of the most outstanding and sought-after musicians.

Three prominent contemporary performers join forces with the Macao Chinese Orchestra to present masterworks by renowned Chinese composers, revealing the new face of Chinese folk music. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity!
