Reflections is a visual show in which the characters’ emotions are communicated through movement, lighting effects, music, video and puppetry, all of it combining to bring audiences a truly exceptional experience. Inspired by famous works by iconic Israeli female poets, Reflections tells the story of a turbulent relationship – a love triangle between a man, a woman and a second woman.
A huge bed appears on stage – an everyday item transformed into the playground of a couple, who live out their relationship on it. But they are not alone. A third party, the other woman, joins them. Is she real or just a product of the imagination? This second woman interacts in the couple´s life, manipulating their story as it unfolds on stage. The concept of time becomes elusive. Linear time stops existing, creating doubts about what’s in the present and what’s in the past. The audience shifts its point of view from the couple on the bed to the other woman, posing the question: who is real and who is a reflection?
