George Lam is a Hong Kong-based Cantopop singer, actor and songwriter. In 1994 Mr. Lam received the ‘Golden Needle Award’ at the RTHK Top Ten Chinese Gold Songs Awards, the highest honour in the Hong Kong pop music circles. In addition, he was listed in the ‘Selection of Best Classic Singers of the last 30 Years’ at the Chinese Music Awards, a prestigious honour from the world of Chinese music. Apart from a wide vocal range, George Lam is endowed with an explosive voice, able to maintain its power even in the highest pitches. Mr. Lam’s songs, such as Judge Bao and Mystery, have been famous for over 20 years.
In this exciting concert, George Lam is joined by renowned Macao singer Sean Pang. Sean Pang has won many awards, and has often represented Macao in cultural exchange events.
The Macao Chinese Orchestra, under the baton of its Principal Conductor and Music Director Pang Ka Pang, has collaborated with numerous famous pop singers, combining the worlds of pop music and traditional Chinese music to great acclaim. The ensemble and these two celebrated singers will certainly offer the public two passionate and nostalgic evenings!
