The Washing of the Water expresses the symbolic power of flowing water to cleanse, redeem and restore. These concepts have fascinated composers ever since music was invented. The biblical Israelites sang their grief beside the waters of Babylon, while modern souls yearn for a bridge over troubled water. Join Chanticleer for an inspirational and spiritually uplifting performance featuring works by Palestrina, Victoria, Lasso and many others.
