Chinese woodwind instruments have a long history and is the most colourful family of Chinese musical instruments. Woodwind instruments are varied and attractive. Due to its sound production method, a unique and appealing tune is achieved on stage. In this concert, we have selected a repertoire that ranges from traditonal to modern classics to allow music fans to feel the distinctive charm of woodwinds and experience a space-time journey to witness the development of woodwinds. This time, Wen Fengchao, Permanent Conductor of the China Ethnic Song and Dance Ensemble, has also been invited to conduct training and hold the baton for the Macao Chinese Orchestra.
