2019 marks the 70^th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 20^th anniversary of Macao’s return to the motherland, also marking the 20^th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Museum of Art (MAM). On this special occasion, MAM and the National Art Museum of China (NAMOC) co-organise“Beauty in the New Era - Masterpieces from the Collection of the National Art Museum of China”. The exhibition features nearly 90 works by modern and contemporary famed artists from the collection of NAMOC, aiming to fully present the development of Chinese fine art over the last 100 years.
