Chen Yunjie is one of the most outstanding young pianists in China today, and has been awarded a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and Artist Diploma by the Manhattan School of Music, Juilliard School and Cleveland Institute of Music respectively. He has garnered awards in a number of international competitions by virtue of his profound understanding of music and richness in expression. Chen is currently serving as an associate professor and supervisor of the master’s degree programme in the Piano Department of the Central Conservatory of Music and has been invited to serve as a judge for the Cleveland international junior piano competition and many other piano competitions both at home and abroad. In this masterclass, Chen will give participants personal guidance to improve their performance skills. Places for observers are also available.

Suitable for audience aged 6 or above
Individuals who are interested to register as participants should provide their experience in playing the piano and the repertoire to be played at the Masterclass for selection purposes. In the event of oversubscription for observers, selection will be made by drawing lots. The deadline for registration is 9 October. Selected participants and observers will receive notification on or before 18 October, and have to submit the fee at any branch of the Macao Ticketing Network by the appointed date.
