Re-opening on July 10

To offer a better environment for visitors, the Macao Museum, a unit of the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao S.A.R. Government, will carry out annual internal maintenance from today (July 2) to 9. The Museum will be closed during this period, with the Fortress Garden remaining open to the public. Visitors can access to the garden via the fortress main gate.

Located in the historical Mount Fortress, the Macao Museum receives a large number of visitors every year. As a result of this large influx of visitors, part of the facilities in the Museum have been subjected to wear and tear since the previous maintenance, more works are necessary to ensure quality service.
