The deadline for applications for the 8th Subsidy Programme for Fashion Design on Sample Making, organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from its Portuguese acronym), is 27 August (Thursday), at 5pm. All interested parties are welcome to take this opportunity to apply for the Programme.
IC launched the “Subsidy Programme for Fashion Design on Sample Making” in 2013, aiming at encouraging local fashion design and creativity, motivating fashion designers to draw up feasible and optimized business plans, promoting the industry to engage in commercial activities or participate in local and international fashion marketing activities, and enhancing the popularity and market competitiveness of the local industry, thereby propelling its sustainable development. The subsidy will be given to a maximum of eight beneficiaries, and each eligible candidate will be granted a subsidy up to MOP170,000 to cover expenses for sample making and production of promotional materials of selected entries.
