Cultural Affairs Bureau publishes Newsletter of Museums and Exhibitions of IC

In order to promote the exhibitions, activities, publications, collections and services of the museums under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), IC now publishes the Newsletter of Museums and Exhibitions of IC, which is available free of charge at all distribution points. An electronic version of the publication is also available for the public to access the information at any moment.

The new issue is rich in content, introducing the recent and upcoming exhibitions of the Macao Museum and the Macao Museum of Art with illustrations and articles, including “Memory of the Past – Exhibition of the Macao Museum Postcards Collection”, “Wandering across the Landscape: Collection of the Macao Museum of Art”, etc.; in terms of publications, it introduces children’s picture books, exhibition albums and artworks collections, including Music Road of Xian Xinghai, The Memorable Time – Macao's Urban Evolution, The Long Journey: The Forbidden City and the Maritime Silk Road and Red December – Carlos Marreiros; in terms of collection, two treasures from the collections of the Macao Museum and the Macao Museum of Art are introduced. In addition, the publication reviews the activities related to the International Museum Day and the Beijing Opera Mask Creative Workshop, and introduces the information and services of various permanent exhibition halls under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau. Members of the public are welcome to participate in the activities and visit the museums.

Distribution points of the Newsletter of Museums and Exhibitions of IC include various cultural facilities under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (including the Macao Museum, the Macao Museum of Art, the Handover Gifts Museum of Macao, the Xian Xinghai Memorial Museum, the Mount Fortress Corridor, the Heritage Exhibition of a Traditional Pawnshop Business, etc.), as well as public libraries under the Cultural Affairs Bureau.
