In order to create a better environment for theatrical performances and screenings, the Cinematheque．Passion (hereinafter referred to as “Cinematheque”), under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, has been temporarily closed for maintenance and renovation since July, including of its façades, interior walls, stairs, drainage pipes, as well as maintenance and repair of the internal equipment. Meanwhile, a comprehensive cleaning and disinfection was carried out in the facilities. The Cinematheque will reopen to the public from 1 September (Tuesday), providing quality cultural services.
In order to prevent the epidemic, the screenings and activities of the Cinematheque will be arranged in accordance with the relevant guidelines of the Health Bureau. All visitors to the Cinematheque must wear face masks, undergo body temperature checks, present their Health Code on that day and cooperate with the staff on site.
