The Macao Cultural Centre, under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, is launching a new edition of “ARTwarming Winter”. This year, the series will stage this December Little Bath Wonders, a gentle splashing performance for babies, and a brand new Arty Christmas, an arts jamboree of little shows, demonstrations and fun activities for all ages.

Little Bath Wonders -----------------------------------------------------------22-27.12.2020

Brimming with interactive props, shower puffs and toys, Little Bath Wonders is the first baby show ever conceived in town by the creative minds of the Big Mouse Kids. This sensorial experience will immerse babies into sprinkling moments of joy taking them to interact with a couple of playful actors. The tiny ones aged 4 to 15 months will be free to explore their surroundings to the sound of live music. Staged over 20 times in Macao, this bonding experience will have parents enchanted with their children’s reactions, boosting imagination and freeing their spirits, without getting anyone wet.

Arty Christmas ---------------------------------------------------------------------25.12.2020

Putting forward a brand new event, the Cultural Centre will innovate with tradition with the Arty Christmas, a lively arts carnival featuring local artists from different fields to create a fun-filled afternoon for families. It will kick off with CCM’s Singing Club, who will stage a lively mini-concert, bringing Christmassy songs for everyone to sing along. Later on, a group of little hip-hoppers will fire up the audience with the coolest vibe in a street dance demonstration. Kids and their families will also have the chance to join a puppet showcase revealing some secrets of the ancient art, or look for naughty clowns that will be walking around with laughter and surprises for everyone. Those who are keen on a little bit of mystery may join the storytelling sessions and the backstage tours conceived to unveil hidden secrets behind the curtains. Quieter areas will not be forgotten for those who favour arts and crafts with a few DIY stations, where Christmas ornaments, balloon drawings and other activities will be tailor made for the event.

Given the current epidemic situation, everyone in the premises will be required to wear a mask, present their health declaration and have their temperature monitored. Due to these adjustments, patrons are advised to arrive early at the venues. Tickets for Little Bath Wonders will be on sale from 1 November (Sunday) at CCM and at the Macao Ticketing Network, and the Arty Christmas is a free admission event, although with limited capacity given the pandemic times we are living in.
