Kuo, Lien-Chang

A graduate from the École Normale de Musique de Paris, Lien-Chang has been the conductor of the International Orchestra, in Paris, the Taipei Chinese Orchestra (TCO) and the China Youth Corps Wind Orchestra. He was also a juror of the National Culture and Arts Foundation, an adviser to the National Symphony Orchestra (Taiwan Philharmonic) and the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, a council member of the National Concert Hall, dean of Fu Jen Catholic University Music Department, the head of School of Professional and Continuing Education, Fu Jen Catholic University, and a full-time professor of the Graduate Institute of Arts and Humanities Education, of the Taipei National University of the Arts (TNUA), as well as the head of its International Exchange Center. He is now a full-time professor, as well as the conductor of the symphony and concert band, of Fu Jen Catholic University Music Department, being also a teacher in orchestra-related courses at the graduate school of the Music Department of the National Taipei University of Education, and an adviser to the symphony orchestra of the Ministry of National Defense, in Taiwan.
