Kua Li Leng

A veteran in the arts and culture sector, Kua is currently at the helm of the Community Engagement and Choral Programmes departments at the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO). Prior to her current role, she served as the head of Artistic Administration, where she played a pivotal role in curating the orchestra’s annual seasons. For over a decade, Kua collaborated closely with the SSO’s music director, elevating the Orchestra to new international standards through extensive collaborations with renowned guest conductors and soloists, as well as high-profile concert tours across the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Kua’s career also includes a 16-year stewardship of the Singapore International Piano Festival, including its overseas editions, in collaboration with various festival artistic directors. Since 2017, she has successfully overseen the biennial National Piano & Violin Competition, Singapore’s oldest and most prestigious music contest. Kua Li Leng keeps fostering meaningful partnerships with other local arts establishments and commercial presenters, enabling the Singapore Symphony Group’s various ensembles and entities to reach broader and more diverse audiences, both locally and internationally.
