A young Pipa player in Taiwan, Huang is currently an adjunct lecturer at the Department of Chinese Music of Taiwan University of Arts. He is also the leader of the Wind-Sough Classical Chamber Orchestra and the Taichung Youth Chinese Orchestra, and a member of the Taipei Liuqin Ensemble and the Little Giant Chinese Chamber Orchestra.

Huang graduated from Taiwan University of Arts with a Master’s thesis The Analysis and Interpretation of Two Pipa Works “Story” and “The Song of Pipa”. In addition to pipa teaching, he also teaches liuqin, zhongruan and daruan. He has made appearances in the US, Europe, Japan, Singapore, to name a few.
