Lin Yun-Hung

Lin is an appointed assistant professor and the wind ensemble conductor at the Department of Music of the Shih Chien University. He graduated from the Department of Biology of the Fu Jen Catholic University, where he minored in tuba at the Department of Music with mentorship from Duan Fu-Hsuan. He then obtained his Master’s degree in tuba performance at the Eastman School of Music, where he studied under Don Harry and served as a teaching assistant in tuba and euphonium ensemble.

He has worked with professional symphony orchestras in Taiwan on multiple occasions as a euphonium/tuba, bass trumpet or trumpet player. He has served as the first and second director-general of the Taiwan Tuba Euphonium Association and is currently the head of the Taiwan Wind Ensemble.
