Yang Chiao-Hui

Yang is currently the principal clarinet of the Taipei Symphony Orchestra and is teaching at the Department of Music of the Taiwan University of Arts, Tunghai University, Chinese Culture University, Shih Chien University, and Juang Jing Vocational High School.

She has obtained a Diplôme de formation supérieur in clarinet, bass clarinet and chamber music from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, and the Prix de perfectionnement from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Regional de Paris. During her years in France, she studied under Guy Dangain, Michel Arrignon and other clarinetists and was invited to hold recitals at music festivals and perform with world-class maestros in chamber music concerts.

She often collaborates with orchestras and virtuosos as a soloist and has actively engaged in performances with various chamber music ensembles. She has also premiered the Clarinet Concerto for Two Clarinets by Lu Wen-Tse and the Concerto for Clarinet and Wind Ensemble by Yiu-Kwong Chung.
