Krzysztof Jablonski

Jablonski is a laureate of the F. Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw in 1985 and has won numerous top prizes at international piano competitions. For the past 40 years, Jablonski has actively performed solo and chamber music, as well as with orchestras on stages across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. Jablonski currently serves as a professor and academic leader of the Piano and Keyboard Division at the School of Music at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.

Jablonski graduated with honours from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland, in 1987 and earned his Doctorate in 1996. He was a tenured professor at The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw from 2004 to 2017 and has been a faculty member of the Morningside Music Bridge Program since 1998. In addition to his academic duties, he conducts masterclasses and lectures and has also delivered seminars for piano teachers.

He has served as a jury member in international piano competitions, including the Chopin Piano Competitions in Warsaw, Toronto, Tokyo, and Foshan. Additionally, he was the Chair of the Jury for the 3rd International Competition of Polish Music in Rzeszów, Poland, and a jury member for the 5th China Shenzhen International Piano Concerto Competition and the RNCM James Mottram International Piano Competition, among others. In 2025, he served as the chair of the jury for the Canadian Chopin Competition in Toronto, Canada, and will be a member of the jury for the F. Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw in October.
