The 22nd Macao Youth Music Competition has successfully finalized. This year’s competition has improved in every aspect – a higher level of contestants and judges, a diversity of musical instruments, improved regulations, more pre-competition training and better arrangement in venues, etc.

The 22nd Macao Youth Music Competition (MYMC) has successfully finalized on May 9, and winners of the remaining categories were announced.

The 22nd Macao Youth Music Competition continues like a raging fire. After a series of intense competitions, winners for the categories of Violin, Erhu and Wind Concerto were announced. Macao teenagers’ love for music has won approval and praises from the judges.

Since last Saturday, over 400 contestants have already competed in fifteen categories of the 22nd Macao Youth Music Competition (MYMC). Showing all they have learnt, the contestants did their best to contend for awards in the competition and have won approvals from the judges. Winners of the events were announced on Monday.

The 22nd Macao Youth Music Competition (MYMC) was successfully kicked-off last Saturday. After a series of competitions between contestants, winners for events in the first two days were announced.

The 22nd Macao Youth Music Competition (MYMC) will take place between May 1 and May 9. In the competition, 730 candidates will contend for 54 events. In order to provide more opportunities for the competitors to learn from their strong points and shortcomings, the Cultural Institute will organize lectures after each competition for the judges to present their comments to the competitors.

The 22nd Macao Youth Music Competition will be held in early May. Recently, the Cultural Institute of the Macao SAR Government organized 16 music workshops to provide more learning opportunities for the competitors.

The 22nd Macao Youth Music Competition has generated great response. In order to allow more potential candidates to participate in this competition, the Cultural Institute has decided to prolong the registration period to March 11 (Thursday). Those who are interested may grasp this last chance.

The 22nd Macao Youth Music Competition will be held from 1st to 9th May 2004. As the organiser has implemented new arrangements for the competition since last year’s programme, now there will be music for string, wind and percussion instruments, Chinese music and vocal groups. Young people interested in participating in this competition may register during the period from 1st to 7th March 2004 (Monday to Sunday).
