A number of activities of ‘HUSH!! Full Music 2020’, organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from its Portuguese acronym), have received overwhelming response and IC has decided to host two additional concerts at the Macao Contemporary Art Centre – Navy Yard No. 2 at 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 22 and 23 August. Interested parties may reserve their seats through IC’s website from 10 a.m. on 15 August.

‘HUSH!! Full Music 2020’ was held between 21 June and 2 August. A range of performances were staged at several outdoor and indoor venues and were well received by the public. Indoor performances at the Macao Contemporary Art Centre – Navy Yard No. 2 were fully booked soon after registration opened. To bring music to a larger audience, IC has invited some of the bands to offer additional performances and will add to the line-up some other bands that were featured in the first online concert, thereby giving the audience a live experience of their electrifying music.

The additional concerts include ‘Surf with MV & ME’ concert on 22 August, featuring FIDA, Amulets, Catalyser and Rebel Rabbit with their music videos screened simultaneously to present a multisensory feast to the audience; and ‘Surf ! Music Waves!’ concert on 23 August, featuring performances in multiple music genres by Asura, Worktone String Quartet, Single Path and B_Gei3. All are welcome to seize the opportunity to support local bands.

Interested parties may reserve their seats through the ‘Event Registration System’ on IC’s website at www.icm.gov.mo/eform/event from 10 a.m. on 15 August, and a maximum of 50 seats are available for each concert on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrants who have received confirmation of successful registration from the organiser are advised to enter the venue 45 minutes before the performance starts, and any available seats thereafter will be provided to walk-in audience. IC will strictly follow the anti-epidemic guidelines of the health authorities and make appropriate arrangements for the event. All participants must wear face masks, undergo body temperature checks and present a ‘Macao Health Code’ of the day. For details of the event, please visit IC’s thematic website at www.icm.gov.mo/hush and the ‘HUSH Full Music’ page on Facebook.
