In recent years, the performing arts have increasingly focused on marginalised communities, aiming to raise public awareness and foster discussion. Let No One Sleep is one such production – shedding light on the struggles and emotional burdens faced by caregivers and those under their care.
In this workshop, the creative team behind the play will share insights into their research and creative process, revealing their findings from field studies. Through film analysis, case studies, and group discussions, participants will explore how theatre portrays vulnerable communities and examine how creators balance artistic expression with authenticity.
Additionally, an expert speaker will offer psychological perspectives on caregiving, providing a deeper understanding of the challenges caregivers and care recipients encounter.
