The beautiful Cinderella lives a miserable life, overburdened with chores by her wicked stepmother and spoiled stepsisters. Yet, despite her struggles, she remains kind at heart. One day, the palace announces a royal ball—a dream come true for every girl in the land! With a swirl of magic, her fairy godmother transforms her into the most beautiful girl at the ball. The Prince is instantly enchanted. But alas, as the clock strikes midnight, the magic must end! Cinderella rushes away, leaving behind only a single, sparkling glass slipper...

The enchanting music of Sergei Prokofiev, one of the 20th century’s most celebrated composers, perfectly captures the story’s changing moods, from delicate and dreamy to frantic and tense. Choreographer Markéta Habalová masterfully translates Prokofiev’s imaginative score into expressive and dynamic movement in this production by Czechia’s Ballet of the National Theatre Brno. From the shimmering magic of the fairy godmother’s spell to the graceful waltzes at the royal ball and Cinderella’s fateful meeting with the Prince, kids and grown-ups will be transported into a world of wonder!
