Miss Sarah Brown sprang from the idyllic pen of
author Damon Runyon to change Sky Masterson's life of vice. Nathan Detroit
challenges the sinful gambler to try and win the pure heart of Sarah Brown, and
confident in his powers of seduction, Masterson accepts, badly needing the
thousand-dollar wager for an illegal gambling business. The blend of humour and
romance makes Guys and Dolls the perfect musical. A special effort on the
part of the Cultural Affairs Bureau brings this 1950 Broadway production to the
ideal setting of Macao. This grand finale celebrates 20 years of International
Music Festival history.
