One of the most popular and critically acclaimed highlights of last year’s music festival was the jazz concert staged at Kun Iam Statue on the river bank. This year, the festival organizers will once again provide an evening of jazz on the waterfront, featuring a group that has recently been tearing up the clubs in Paris and all over Europe: Quinte & Sens.
Formed in 1995, Quinte & Sens is one of the most innovative groups of the new generation of European avant garde jazz artists. The French music journal Pariscope/Time Out had this to say about Quinte & Sens: “this energetic new line-up has impressed fellow musicians with their brand of groovy, folky, contemporary jazz. Not to be missed.”
