Precision,
cool-headed baton technique and passionate music-making are hallmarks of
Hungarian conductor Andras Ligeti. He has conducted numerous major orchestras
worldwide and is currently the Music Director of the Taipei Symphony Orchestra.
Marco Rizzi, one of today’s most promising musicians, is noted for his unique
interpretations and “unmistakable musical intuition”. He has been dubbed by
The Strad as “first-rate violinist”. On Claudio Abbado’s recommendation,
Rizzi received the Europäischen Musikförderperis. The collaboration of such
prestigious musicians promises to make this one of the most dramatic programmes
