The Slovak National Theatre, one of the most important cultural institutions in Slovakia, was established in 1920. Today it is home to opera, drama and ballet, as well as an independent professional choir which from the very beginning has proved indispensable for the theatre’s artistic productions. Under the baton of multi-awardwinning choirmaster Pavol Procházka, the Slovak National Theatre Chorus is now a key representative of Bratislava’s high quality music scene. In the evocative ambience of St. Dominic’s Church, the most extraordinary choral pieces from internationally acclaimed works by Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Dvořák, Verdi, Puccini, Mascagni, Wagner, Händel and others are bound to render an unforgettable concert.

“...the Chorus proved first class.”
